Free to fix a file. Pro to fix a library.
The editor itself is free and stays free. Pro exists for the work that scales — hundreds of files in one pass, tags fetched from online databases, and the safety net that makes both of those comfortable.
Free
The complete editor, one file at a time.
- Read every EXIF, IPTC, XMP, and ID3 tag
- Edit any supported field, one file at a time
- Every image, video, and audio format
- Interactive map, place search, coordinate copy
- Session undo and redo
- CSV and JSON export
- Windows, macOS, and Linux
Pro
Everything in Free, plus the tools that make a whole collection tractable.
- Batch editing — apply a value, or a date offset, across an entire selection
- Online tag lookup — identify tracks, films, and episodes, then fill the fields from the match
- Presets and templates — save a set of values once, apply it to every future import
- Automatic backups — originals copied before every write, with restore points
- Persistent undo history — the record survives closing the app
- Priority support and early builds
Pricing isn't set yet, and we'd rather say that than post a number we might change. Beta members get it in writing before anyone else.

Pricing questions
The commercial details.
Why is batch editing the paid feature?
Because it's the one that saves hours rather than minutes. Fixing a single mis-dated photo should not cost anything — that's a favour the software owes you. Correcting four hundred of them in one action is a different kind of value, and it's what funds the work.
Why does tag lookup cost money?
Identifying a track or a film means querying online databases on your behalf, which carries real per-request cost and rate limits. Pro covers that. Everything else in EveryMark runs entirely on your machine and always will.
Will Free stop working, or get worse?
No. Free is the complete editor for one file at a time, permanently. We aren't going to remove a capability from it later to make Pro look better.
One-time purchase or subscription?
Undecided, and we won't pretend otherwise. It's the main thing we want beta feedback on — a desktop tool you own outright is the instinct, but the lookup services carry ongoing cost. Join the list and you'll be asked directly.
Can I use it commercially?
Yes, on both tiers. Every dependency in EveryMark is MIT, Apache 2.0, BSD, or ISC licensed — there is no copyleft anywhere in the tree, deliberately, so nothing about your own work is encumbered by using it.
What happens to my files if I stop paying?
Nothing. Metadata written to your files is written to your files — it doesn't live in an account, and it doesn't expire. Whatever you've already fixed stays fixed.
